KorteQ has been working with the Faculty of Engineering and Design for several years, contributing to its EPSRC-funded research programmes.
St. Cross College - OxfordKorteQ hosted a private dinner on 29th June for senior industry executives from the Nuclear and Aerospace sectors, with discussion on the topic "Don't Waste a Crisis".
March 2009 - Keynote at IET Conference, LondonThe agenda for "Best Practice Performance in Cloud Computing", the IET's inaugural event shaping the transformation of business through web-hosted applications, included our end-user case study
"Demonstrating the Business Case for Cloud Computing". The illustrations drew on emerging international experiences of driving collaboration, content and knowledge-sharing via low-cost infrastructure.
September 2008 - Nuclear DecommissioningPaul Adler presented on "Vital Engineering Know-How: Mitigating the Risks on Major Programmes" as part of the exhibition at this landmark conference sponsored by leading Industry and professional associations. Key imperatives around
Safety, Training, Programme Performance, Value-for-Money and Learning from Experience were explored over the course of three days of presentations and debate, culminating with an innovative Knowledge Market for major players in the Nuclear supply chain.
March 2008 - Bloor Research Event at the House of CommonsPatrick Mercer, MP OBE, acted as host at a breakfast round table for the KorteQ/Bloor research programme. The topic for debate was
"Effective Knowledge Transfer", chaired by Dr. Richard Sykes (pictured), the internationally renowned commentator on the global ICT industry and future business models. Attendees included senior executives from both end-user companies and from the IT industry.
