Accelerate Learning
Hopkins Architects turned to KorteQ to implement a modern web-based collaboration platform based on GoogleApps, in order to revolutionise learning, collaboration and development.

Complex time-dependent construction programmes such as the Velodrome commissioned for the London 2012 Olympics demand high-performance international teamwork: modern tools for collaboration are vital in this industry.

A powerful Intranet/Extranet capability helps to bridge communication gaps while avoiding the need to travel, hence supporting the "green" agenda.

But in a challenging market, Hopkins chose to dig deeper and challenge traditional approaches to learning, setting a bold ambition to accelerate the development of the up-and-coming generation of architects, hence driving innovation and future growth of the practice.

We teamed up with Hopkins and Oxford University to launch a focused programme of research into how design work is actually performed; how knowledge is transferred in practice; how skills and experience are built up; and how the Hopkins "brand" and design ethos are sustained from project to project.

Hopkins' ambitions are progressively becoming reality, as the new Google-like multi-media capabilities are being embraced by practice staff, with KorteQ's help all along the way.
